About my style and how your session will flow…

Love. Affection. Joy.

We all experience it in different ways as well as express them in a multitude of ways. I look for tiny bits of who you are and tell your story off of that. I look for your glimpses of confidence when you get hyped up by me, I look at the way you talk to your loved ones in between shots, how your snuggles turn from short hugs into long drawn out ones, and how your hands touch one another.
I like to style my sessions to be more expressive rather than super “posey”. While I believe it is great to have that great Christmas card photo, the moments in between those cheesy poses are really what matters most to me.

During our session, we will be constantly moving, playing, interacting, joking, and just enjoying each others company. I want you guys to feel that we’re all friends hanging out but with cameras around! I will spend less time posing and more time getting you, your partner, or your family to interact with each other through adventuring, prompts, and even just sitting around chatting. I want the finished product to tell a story about your lives in a way words simply fail to.

I believe that if I can capture the feeling in the image that it will invoke emotions of that moment for years to come. My goal with everyone I am lucky enough to document is to ensure that you have authentic memories to hold onto for a lifetime.
